Sisiyphus @ Manchester

There was a time (and it was not this season or last) when Manchester United FC was dominant. Playing any team in the EPL, they looked like a team that was happy just to prance and swagger, and pick the low-hanging fruits, knowing fully well they had the chainsaw, if they had to, to take down the tree.

Last night against Birmingham, Man Utd looked like a Sisiyphus who ran out of fortitude to roll the rock uphill for the thousandth time. And it was not just last night – you could already see the United tank had nothing but fumes when they lost to Liverpool way back in October. Perhaps SAF should seriously think of trading Landon Donovan for Dimitar Berbatov.
