Feathered Dinosaurs and the Origins of Birds

The next time you go to KFC, remember that as you dig in, you are actually eating a living dinosaur. Birds, according to evolutionary paleontologists, are extant descendants of long-extinct dinosaurs.

In recent years the northern province of Jehol in China has shown the world some of the most astonishing fossil finds ever since the discovery of the first complete skeleton of Archaeopteryx in 1861.
