Book: War Room: The Legacy of Bill Belichick and the Art of Building the Perfect Team

I first came to the United States in the late autumn of 1988. While looking for a place to rent for the 1-year duration while studying for my Masters at the University of Rhode Island, I had to bunk in at the university dorms for a few days. That was how I knew how passionate the New Englanders were about their football–American NFL football that is. One day I joined a bunch of undergrads watching a live game of football involving the local (based in the Greater Boston area) football team–the New England Patroits. The Patriots then have never won the Super Bowl but the undergrads were raving about and had high hopes for the new-aquired Patriots’ quarterback, Doug Flutie. Since then, of course, I tracked the ups and downs of the New England Patriots. The Patriots finally won the Vince Lombradi Trophy in Super Bowl XXXVI under Head Coach Bill Belichick. (Newest: The Patriots are in a commanding position (8-3) to win the AFC East this year.)

This book is a great book detailing the human side of NFL football. If you are a fan of the Patriots, this book is a must-read.
