Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, has died and we are now just beginning to learn in detail how he came back to Apple and engineered the greatest second coming in corporate history. When he died he had the satisfication of knowing that Apple, albeit briefly, has become the most valuable publicly-traded company in the world. There is another famous brand, Starbucks, that went severely downhill during the 2008 recession, and was also saved by the return as CEO of its founder (as we knew commonly know Starbucks), Howard Schutlz.
